Oana Corina Melinte is a contemporary painter based in
her hometown of Iași, Romania. Her artistic practice explores themes of light,
energy, memory, and the dynamic relationship between the material and the
spiritual worlds, expressed through oil and mixed media on canvas.

Born in 1982, Oana's artistic journey began in 2018 while living in
Madrid, Spain, where she was working as a foreign language teacher. A
transformative visit to the Joaquín Sorolla Museum awakened a long-buried
childhood memory and ignited a profound need for self-expression through color,
movement, and creative exploration.

Since then, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions
across Romania, internationally, and through online platforms, steadily
building a distinctive artistic voice. Her work has been featured in several
notable publications, including three personal art books and a range of
collaborative international art projects.

Among her published contributions are eight artworks featured in Contemporary
Masterstrokes Unveiled – Voices and Visions, Art Book Edition 2025 by
Lumen Art Gallery; two artworks included in The Poetry of Science and Art –
Universal Symphony III: LOVE HEALS, authored by Prof. Dr. Yelda Özsunar;
and the art album Luminous Configurations (2025), published by Lumen
Art Gallery through Amazon and Tredition GmbH, Ahrensburg, Germany. She is also
the author of the personal art book Synarchies of Light, published on
Amazon.

In addition to her visual art practice, Oana has shared reflections on
her artistic journey through various articles published by APCS – Cultural and
Sports News Agency (Agenția de Presă Culturală și Sportivă), Romania. Through
her work, she seeks to create luminous spaces of contemplation, inviting
viewers to connect with deeper dimensions of consciousness, emotion, and
spiritual awareness.
